Work in Care is a joint project between Connecting Jobs, an initiative by Beredskapslyftet, in collaboration with Ambea, Scandinavia’s leading care company. The initiative aims to help newcomers in Sweden get into work within various care roles at Ambea.

Who we are looking for
To take part in the project, the candidate needs to:
• Have the right to live and work in Sweden but not be a Swedish or EU citizen
• Be eligible for Introduktionsjobb, Etableringsjobb or possibly Nystartsjobb
• Live in Stockholm and the surrounding area
• Have basic knowledge of Swedish

Recruitment process
How can I get hired?
Most recruitments take place through recruitment events. Ahead of each event, around 30 candidates are selected to go through at least one interview with one or more potential employers.

Some recruitments take place directly, without being part of an event. If a position is part of a recruitment event, this will be clearly stated in the job posting.
Where?
The launch takes place in the Stockholm region, with a focus on recruitment for roles such as care assistants, kitchen assistants, and other entry-level roles within elderly care.

These positions are part of a project that is co-funded by the European Union through the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF). The project aims to support third-country nationals in their integration into the Swedish labor market. The participants hold residence permits in Sweden but do not have Swedish citizenship or EU/EEA citizenship. Candidates who meet these criteria are encouraged to apply.
