What is AI:spire?

AI:spire is a 12-week AI upskilling program designed for individuals who are newcomers to Sweden and have a technical background with programming experience. The program will support you in strengthening your AI skills, gaining recognized credentials, and building real connections in the Swedish tech sector.

Program structure

The program starts during the fall of 2026 and is divided into two phases:

Weeks 1–8 – Skill-building: Part-time, Monday to Friday (approx. 13 hours per week). 
Weeks 9–12 – Program Project: Full-time, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week).
Format: Hybrid — Weekly online sessions combined with 2–3 mandatory in-person events per week in Stockholm. 

Throughout the program, you will:

· AI skill building: During the first eight weeks, you will prepare for a Microsoft certification.

· Applied Skills: Alongside the certification, you will complete Microsoft Applied Skills credential.

· Professional Readiness: Throughout the program, you will strengthen the skills needed to succeed in the Swedish tech workplace, through inspirational lectures, Swedish fikas, and mentor sessions.

· Practical Project: In the final phase, you will apply your AI skills in a real-world context through a practical project.
