Are you a newcomer in Sweden with a background or interest in IT or technology? Are you interested in the latest AI trends and the future of work?
If yes, we invite you to join an inspiring panel discussion and networking session with Accenture specialists and other leading companies at Järvaveckan.
Event Overview
Join us on May 28, 2026, at the Accenture tent during Järvaveckan to listen to the discussion regarding how companies can overcome the shortage of AI talent and connect with specialists from Accenture and other leading companies. During the event, the AI:spire program will also be presented.
The networking session will follow a speed-mentoring format, giving participants the opportunity to meet several mentors, ask questions, exchange contacts, and expand their professional network in Sweden.
About the Panel Discussion
As AI reshapes the workforce at an unprecedented pace, the key question is not only how fast we move forward, but who gets to move forward with us. While AI creates enormous opportunities for innovation and growth, it also risks reinforcing inequality and exclusion if access to opportunities is not inclusive.
In Sweden today, many highly skilled newcomers with technical backgrounds remain outside the tech labour market, while companies continue to face a growing shortage of AI talent. The paradox is clear: talent exists, but access does not.
During this session, the panel will discuss:
- How AI is impacting the labour market
- Barriers preventing newcomers from entering the tech sector
- What companies can do to build a more inclusive AI-driven workforce
The panel discussion will be followed by a fireside chat with the Minister for Employment Johan Britz, and Accenture Sweden’s Head of Health and Public Service Erik Svensson, focusing on concrete actions needed to create meaningful change.
About the AI:spire Program
AI:spire is a 12-week AI upskilling program designed for newcomers to Sweden who have a technical background and programming experience. The program includes training, mentoring, and internship opportunities.
