Our client is a private construction company working with the construction and renovation of private residential houses. The company is looking for a motivated person who would like to learn the painting profession and gain practical experience directly on construction sites. Previous professional experience as a painter is not required, as the employer is prepared to train the right candidate.

The employer is particularly interested in giving women an opportunity to enter the construction industry, learn a practical profession and gain hands-on work experience in a traditionally male-dominated field.

Who we are looking for:
Trainee Painter / Construction Painter

Responsibilities:
– Prepare interior and exterior surfaces before painting
– Clean, sand, fill and prepare walls, ceilings, facades and other surfaces
– Apply primer, paint and other surface treatments
– Paint interior walls, ceilings, doors and other building elements
– Paint exterior walls, facades and other outdoor surfaces
– Protect floors, windows, furniture and surrounding areas before painting
– Assist experienced construction workers with painting and preparation work
– Keep tools, materials and the workplace clean and organised
– Follow safety instructions and working procedures on construction sites

Requirements:
– Previous professional experience as a painter is not required
– You are interested in learning a practical profession within the construction industry
– You are prepared to carry out physical and hands-on work
– You are comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
– You are able to follow instructions and work carefully
– You are responsible, punctual and willing to learn
